• Clay was the senior country manager responsible for Saudi Arabian operations for an international company, underbalanced re-entry division along with major Canadian based corporations prior to founding Fluid Energy Group Ltd.

• Clay and his team exited Fluid Energy Group Ltd. Oil & Gas division in 2023 having returned over 2200% to his initial investors

• His extensive operational management, commercial and chemical experience is coupled with an extensive international network continue to bring value to the shareholders of Chemical Evolution and wholly owned subsidiaries SixRing Inc. and SciencePak Inc.

• Clay has a depth of experience and business acumen in the development and execution of strategic plans for international growth orientated organizations

Chief Technology Officer

• Markus has over 25 years of international research and development experience with renowned research facilities and diverse industrial fields

• He holds a PhD in physical chemistry from the University of Potsdam/Germany and executed his research work at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces in Potsdam/Germany

• Markus has a profound working knowledge of the oil and gas industry encompassing fracturing, cementing, heavy oil recovery and chemistry

• Previously, Markus was the lead of a stimulation R&D group of an international Oil & Gas service provider

• Markus has extensive experience in international commercialization of new completion and production chemistry, working closely with engineering, product development, marketing and sales

• Markus has co-authored many oil and gas chemical patents and leads the IP generation activities at the Company

Chief Commercial Officer and General Counsel

• Brandon is a business-practical lawyer with over fifteen years of experience, including ten years working in private practice at a tier one law firm, with a focus in domestic and international tax, as well as corporate law, and over five years in an executive capacity. Brandon has advised on over 500 transactions, with an aggregate transaction value exceeding $20 billion.

• Brandon has significant experience advising on project structuring and formation, share and asset acquisitions, amalgamations and mergers, debt and equity financings, reorganizations and restructurings, outbound and inbound investments, business expansions, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, employment compensation, resident and non-resident distributions, and transfer pricing, among other areas.

• Brandon is also the author of many reasoned legal and tax opinions, the author of multiple published articles, and has presented at a number conferences on complex tax topics.

• Brandon holds a Law degree from Dalhousie University, a Bachelor of Commerce (with Distinction) degree from the University of Alberta, a Certificate for levels I through III of the In-Depth Tax Course (CPA), and a Certificate of Completion (with Honors) for the Canadian Securities Course. Prior to joining the Corporation, Brandon acted as the Vice-Chair, Executive of the CBA - Tax Specialist (South).

President
• Scott has more than 25 years of experience in leading operational and capital markets roles
• Scott previously served as the Chief Operating Officer of Phyto Organics
• Prior to that Scott was the Vice President of Capital Markets and Strategy with Calfrac Well Services for close to five years
• Scott has worked in equity research as an Analyst with TD Bank and Macquarie Capital Markets for close to a decade
• Scott began his career in the Oil and Gas industry as an open hole wireline engineer with Weatherford International
• Scott holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Materials Engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada and an MBA (Finance) from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary.
• Scott served 9 years in the Canadian Armed Forces including 5 years as a Naval Officer aboard multiple ships in the Royal Canadian and Royal Australian Navies and was awarded the Special Service Medal with NATO Bar.

Vice President, Business Development

• Ron Hoffmann brings more than 30 years of diverse experience to Fluid Energy Group/SixRing, having served in leadership positions in Canada’s diplomatic service, and federal and provincial governments.

• As a Canadian diplomat Ron has served in six countries spanning four continents, with extensive experience in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa. His roles including Senior Trade Commissioner, Director General of Strategic Policy, Director of Defence and Security Policy, and Senior Advisor to two Canadian foreign ministers.

• Ron has served as Ambassador in Afghanistan at the height of Canada’s engagement and as Ambassador in Thailand with cross accreditation to Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos. His other postings were in China, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and South Africa. Since 2014 Ron has served Alberta as Senior Representative to Asia based in Hong Kong, and then as Interim CEO and then COO of Invest Alberta tasked with standing up the corporation in its initial year and supporting several major new investments into the province.

• While based in Hong Kong, Ron was elected Vice Chairman of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce from 2015-2019. He is a frequent commentator and lecturer on foreign policy, international affairs and government.

Director of Finance

• Warren brings more than 30 years of diverse financial and operational experience to the corporation, having significant experience spanning financial accounting, business operations, and business system design, implementation, and project management.

• Warren holds active designations as a Charter Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP).

• Prior to joining Chemical Evolution, Warren was the ERP Practice Lead with a Business Solutions consulting firm where he was central to establishing a newly launched ERP service offering.  Prior to that Warren has held positions as Controller, Chief Accountant, and Accounting Manager, as well as Senior Consultant and Senior Account Manager roles.

Senior Laboratory Manager

• Alejandra brings more than a decade of experience in formulation, chemical development, and advanced analytical techniques. She holds an M.Sc. in Inorganic Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Bioinorganic Chemistry from the University of Calgary, where she developed deep expertise in biochemical methods and a broad suite of characterization tools used to study chemical reactivity and structure of various chemicals, from catalysts to pharmaceutical leads.

• At SixRing, Alejandra leads multidisciplinary projects that apply the SixRing technology platform across diverse sectors, including agriculture, biofuels, pharmaceuticals, and industrial chemistry.

• She has extensive experience integrating chemical and biological processes and has played a key role in advancing several commercial applications of the SixRing product platforms. Alejandra has co-authored and contributed to over 20 patents.

Laboratory Manager

• Matthew has nearly 20 years of combined academic and industrial experience in chemical synthesis, product development and formulation, and advanced analytical techniques. He holds a Ph.D. in applied organic and polymer chemistry from the University of Western Ontario, where he developed much of his chemical synthesis and experimental design toolkit.

• Prior to joining SixRing, Matthew spent several years in the oil and gas service industry, where he developed a skillset focused on product formulation and specialized testing methods.

• At SixRing, he leads a team of chemists tasked with developing lignin-derived products for agriculture, fuels and energy, and industrial chemicals.

• He has co-authored and contributed to nine patents and has played a leading role in advancing commercial applications of a variety of the SixRing product platforms.
